A fourth Striker® Volterra® Electric ARFF order strengthens emergency response capabilities at Paris–Le Bourget Airport, marking the airport’s first repeat Striker Volterra EV ARFF purchase.
APPLETON, WIS. (March 4, 2026) — Oshkosh Airport Products, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) business, announced Groupe ADP has placed an order for a fourth Oshkosh Striker® Volterra® 6x6 Electric Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicle for Paris-Le Bourget Airport (Paris-LBG). This order follows the initial purchase, pursuant to a public procurement procedure, of three Striker Volterra Electric ARFF vehicles announced in 2024, marking the airport’s first repeat Striker order.
Paris-Le Bourget Airport is Europe’s largest executive and business aviation airport and plays a key role in supporting global travel into the Paris region. The airport sits immediately north of Paris and is historically significant as the landing site of Charles Lindbergh’s transatlantic flight. Its location and operational profile require ARFF vehicles capable of supporting a wide range of response scenarios across dense urban surroundings.
The Striker Volterra fleet features a patented Oshkosh electric powertrain paired with an electro-mechanical infinitely variable transmission. This configuration enables zero emissions operation during station entry, standby and low-speed movement.
“These vehicles support operational needs across the airfield while aligning with modern sustainability goals. We look forward to continuing this collaboration as the airport strengthens its emergency response resources,” said Marcus Laan, Manager of Business Development, Oshkosh Airport Products.
The vehicles are equipped with bus-style stack doors for improved compartment access, a camera-based mirror system for enhanced visibility and an extensive lighting package for optimized scene illumination. All four vehicles were configured to match one another, simplifying operator training and long-term fleet management.
Key performance features include:
- Low attack bumper turret and roof turret with flow rates up to 79 L/sec (1,250 gpm)
- TAK-4® Independent Suspension
- 10,500-liter (2,770-gallon) water tank
- 800-liter (210-gallon) foam tank
- 7,570 lpm (2,000 GPM) water pump
- Oshkosh Airport Products sells a fourth Striker® Volterra® 6x6 Electric ARFF Vehicle to a Parisian airport
- Advanced lighting package
Three of the vehicles also feature a roof turret, while the fourth features a Snozzle® High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET).
The first three Striker Volterra vehicles were delivered in early December 2025.
