EV Driving Mode
Electric Vehicle (EV) Driving Mode operates solely on electric energy for all driving processes. Automatically engaging the engine when needed, this mode ensures optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Acceleration
The Striker Volterra Electric ARFF has a 28% improved acceleration compared to the conventional Striker ARFF, accelerating from 0-50 mph (0-80 kph) in 25 seconds or less.
Regenerative Braking
Regenerative braking converts kinetic energy to electrical energy in the high-voltage battery. This results in less heat and wear on the service brake system.
Pump and Roll
Featured on every truck we manufacture, pump and roll enables the vehicle to be in motion while powering the pump using battery power.
Stationary Pumping
Stationary pumping utilizes the battery to efficiently power the water pump. The Command Zone Control System optimizes engine RPM based on water pump requirements to reduce emissions and noise.
